Now that my cousin's big wedding is over. I have to get ready for my trip to
Phuket. I'm very anal about becoming
sun burnt so I have prepared for optimal protection.
Haha.
It's the season to be jolly! Excited for the holiday season.
Will post photos of the wedding when I upload some of mine and from my cousin.
And so her wedding got me thinking. Do people really prepare for the wedding that they want or do they prepare for a wedding that others want. Do you really need a multitude of guests that well frankly, you don't even know but invite them anyway
coz your mother said you have to. Do you really need the usual standard food like shark's fin at the wedding
coz it shows that you can afford it and also your mother said so. Again. You will become hopelessly busy and tired on your wedding day. A day that I would think all you wanna do is sit back, relax and marry the one man you love and want to live forever after with. And just to share that happiness with all your loved ones around you. I mean I highly doubt my mother's colleagues whom I've never met in my life will feel happy for me. But instead all day your shuttling yourself to and fro various places and finally at night have to entertain a large group of guests and not be able to eat the food at your own wedding dinner. The food that you attended many food tastings for!
I would love a quaint little garden wedding with my friends and family.

With lush green grass. Fresh flowers. And a nice, relaxed environment.
Or the classic beach wedding whereby I have to marry someone
uber rich.
Coz you'll have to fly all your guests since Singapore beaches are hopeless.

So pretty. White and gold seems like a good combination. Very elegant and fairy-tale like.
And there you have it. My ideal wedding in the future. I would like to attend a beach/garden wedding please.
Haha.
