You know all those kids in the neighbourhood always running
ard with their friends and playing soccer/basketball with whoever is at the court. Well, I have never done that in my life and on Friday evening decided to shoot some hoops(
haha, like
im damn pro but most of the time nth goes in) with friends.
Boy, do I have no childhood.
A girl
abt 13 or so came up to me and ask me play a game called ABC. Am I the only person that doesn't know what that is??
Haha. Anyway it's like shooting from the markings on the semicircle until you complete the whole damn thing. I did not know the action of doing that has a name. I thought
ppl just do that to warm up or
sth.
Not the point. The point is I hate that child! Long story short, she scoffed at me and kept saying she's better den me in Mandarin.
Haha. That kid prob plays at that court like everyday. And if she din stop talking
Feroz wld have displayed his
wondrous chinese-speaking skills to her as well. I
wld have too but I was having so much fun pretending I don't understand. I don't really know what's the fun in that but she eventually gave up playing with me anyway.
Haha.
Which brings me to the point to
ppl who speak in Mandarin and say
sth bad right in front of my face thinking I don't understand. I mean I don't do that to
angmoh ppl who don't understand the language as well. Or
ppl of any other races for that matter. It's so rude. Esp service staff. Who doesn't even bother to whisper whatever bad things they have to say to their colleague. Sometimes, just for kicks, I like to smile sweetly at them and say
sth in Mandarin. But so far, I can't
rmb when was the last time I did that. Or maybe I never did that but I want to. Whatever, the point is, I will not suffer in silence the next time!
Ok end of rant.
Last paper coming up this week!
Yay:)
But I prob will dive straight into work after. Decisions, decisions. Decisions I have to make. So hard.

It's a nice feeling to know that the one thing you did right in your life is meeting this amazing person. And learning to trust this person. And it turns out it's all worth your while to open your heart to him because 7 years on, he's still standing right before you. Despite it all, still loves the true you and has magically changed your life in so many different ways. So irreplaceable and makes you feel a kind of happiness you never knew you could feel.
It is possible to love someone more everyday. Love happens. And it develops. And maybe, just maybe, it will be the happily ever after you always dreamed of.
Happy anniversary to us:)
Thank you for everything.

It's 2 more papers to go before a long break:)
I have been busy and I don't even know why when I'm like right in the middle of my exams. Been going here there everywhere. Haha.
Managed to catch Ip Man 2 even though I din catch the first one. I think Donnie Yen is the only guy who can be Ip Man. He fits the role so perfectly! His acting is so good. He must be like one of the only few chinese actors I actually like. Coz he doesn't act very drama. Haha.
Also went to take a look at Rachel in her wedding dress with hair/makeup:) So pretty! And it makes me feel like getting married even though I don't really want to right now. But the process just seems so fun! Choosing everything. The venue, the decor, the flowers, the makeup, the hair, the dress!
Flipped through the bridal magazines and saw a gazillion places you can hold your wedding at. Number one on my list now is Fort Canning Park. But no aircon. Haha. However, the atmosphere of that place is just so magical!

Ultimately beautiful la! Haha.
I love weddings. But I don't really like traditional Chinese ones. It all just seem so pretentious. Was just talking abt it with friends the other day and we all agree the chinese food for weddings suck. Haha. Basically I eat almost nth coz I don't fancy chinese food much. Haha.
Speaking of food, went to try out a new Italian restaurant called Garibaldi at Purvis St. In a bid to try to replace beloved Sareceno. But unfortunately, no. Haha. Although it's quite nice and everything. The place is so pretentious and all uppity-up. Haha like noses in the air kinda ppl. Prob will only go back for the fantastic carrot soup. Real big portion but than again for that price it shld be. Haha. Nice food is everyway in Singapore but so hard to get one that you really really love.
It's another week of studying for the papers ahead.
xoxo
